Hey! You!

I didn't mean for you to actually
jump! That's crazy! You didn't even wait for
me to unroll the rope ladder! Are you all right? I
mean, are you... are you sure? Okay, whew. Good.
You had me worried! I really need to write up a waiver one
of these days for you crazy tourists to sign before we go up in
the balloon. Speaking of the balloon, I need to tether it
to something real quick and then we can check out the rest of
the ship.

Okay, there. We're all set.
Anyway, as you have already experienced the hard way,
this is Chateau Nouveau's rear deck. Now might be a
good time to mention that in addition to being super high tech,
this ship also represents the epitome of luxury. A
gracious amount of this ship's funding came from my own pocket,
and I used these funds to make Chateau Nouveau as comfortable as
possible. I've actually never seen that patio furniture
over there before, though... I'm guessing Fresia must
have just bought that. We'll probably have to wire it down
to something before we take off again, lest it go flying around
during a future takeoff and break our railing or something.

From here, you can get a good view
of the ship's rear propellers. They are not currently
turned on, since we're simply hovering in place at the moment.
They're much bigger close up, aren't they? Careful, don't
lean over too far! We're a long way from the ground.

Now, if you'll step this way, I'll
take you into the ship's kitchen.

This lovely kitchen unit represents
the epitome of style and efficient living!

Here's the sto--yikes!
Somebody must have left this burner on. I'm relatively
certain it wasn't me! Anyway, this is the range,
and the rest of the surface is dedicated to... uhh... well, I'm
not entirely sure what it's called, but this area here is
essentially a hot surface on which all sorts of goodies
can be fried or cooked.

On this side, we have an oven.
It can be used to cook things. I don't really know
what else to say about it.

Looking back across the kitchen,
these are probably the two most used appliances on the ship.
Neither Fresia or myself actually enjoy cooking, so we eat lots
of cold sandwiches and microwave dinners.
Not the healthiest route, I know, but it makes for less mess to
clean up.

The last thing in here that's
noteworthy are the lights. Everything is natural
LED, so it's not only power-efficient, but it's good for our
general well-being. I guess. To tell you the truth,
I had nothing to do with the design of this part of the ship.

The next, part, however, is my own
personal pride and joy!
