buy a
pair!

All
designs are hand-painted, and I am ready to share
most of them with the world! They make great
gifts, and each pair is lovingly crafted to stand
the test of time. I happily take requests!
How do I buy a pair?
Until I
can streamline my ordering system, please
contact me
if you are interested in buying a pair. Prices may
vary depending on the price of plain shoes,
materials, and time required for the design. I am
working on implementing stable prices in the near
future.
Do you only paint Vans?
Nope, I'll paint just about
anything! Most of my gallery is Vans at the moment,
but I am open to the idea to painting everything
from Chuck Taylors to boots. Special requests can be
worked out through me.
Will they last?
The first pair of custom shoes I
ever painted was a pair of
orange, green and black Dino Vans as a gift for
my sister, Jill Greenseth. She wore them religiously
for a couple of years and recently showed them to me
again. In my opinion, the shoes themselves are more
worn out than the actual design! I use
Jaquard
Neopaque and Lumiere acrylic fabric paints and
occasionally small amounts of other acrylics. I only
use materials I hold in the highest confidence as an
artist.
Why are some pairs listed as "not for sale?"
Some shoes in the gallery were created as "fan art"
and are not for sale/were never sold. Others, like
the "Galaxy" shoes, are not for sale due to a lack
of personal research in how well those particular
materials hold up over time when worn. Other shoes
may periodically be listed as "not for sale" if the
design is overly time-restrictive and my number of
requests is high.
I am not
officially partnered/affiliated with Vans Inc. or
any other shoe company. |
