12/12/2008: KGW's Great Toy Drive, and more!
If you haven't seen it yet, I invite everyone visiting the
blog to check out the piece I've done
for the EPMO department of Regence for this year's Great Toy
Drive. I am very excited to be part of this year's
festivities!
I would also like to
take this opportunity to remind my site visitors that I am available
to them anytime to help them accomplish their commercial and
personal art projects.
Favorite super heroes, plants, animals, portraits, murals....
whatever it is, don't hesitate to e-mail me to find out more about
my services. If you have something special in mind for someone
close to you, there's nothing I enjoy more than knowing I'm working
on a piece that will warm someone's heart. Every personal
commission is also excluded from the work pictured on my website,
unless the commissioner wishes for it to be included on the web.
As a final note, I want
to state (this time with more conviction) that my September/October
trip to Europe is now almost fully documented, finally.
I am missing one page, and I plan to finish it in the next few days.
My apologies to the patient friends and family members who are still
waiting to see proof of my adventures. Re-living my European
vacation has really been a long (but enjoyable) process, and
hopefully the long hours spent will be evident when it is finally
posted.
11/07/2008:
New work
My gallery has been updated with new digital and ink pieces,
and my thumbnail navigation on specific art category pages has
been converted back to the old style.
11/05/2008:
Networking, and some other things
I've been working on getting this site posted to various
online communities, and I would love to hear from folks who may
be part of some of the same networks. If you belong to
SkillWho.com,
LinkedIn.com,
Facebook, or
deviantART, feel free
to look me up.

11/04/2008:
New Site?
LIVE!
During a push today that
took even me by surprise, the new site is already live and ready
for action. There may still be some bugs and/or broken links
to fix, but hopefully most things are in
working order. Please feel free to contact me and let me
know what you think!
11/04/2008:
New Site in the
Making
In an effort to update
the look and feel of my portfolio, I have started working on a
new splash page (see image below) and overall look to this
site. It may be some time until the new site is implemented,
and in the meantime the current site will stay fully
functional. During the afternoon, I also made a few changes to
some text around the website for clarification purposes.
11/03/2008:
DA account (~Poj5)
For those who are curious, I have a newly-created
account on
deviantART, a site where
aspiring artists, professional artists, and everyone in between
can meet up to share their artwork and ideas. A lot of
work from this site is also featured there. If you have any
feedback on my current work or are already part of the DA
community, feel free to contact me there and/or leave comments
on individual pieces. Some of my more off-kilter work is
featured there as well, along with some comics that do not
appear on this site (for reasons of keeping characters other
than my own out of my personal portfolio). In the
meantime, the vast majority of my artwork will continue to
appear on this site. If you would like to visit my DA
page, please click here.
10/30/2008:
Another artwork added, and improved navigation
After watching a lot of people click the little words under
the thumbnails in the navigation bar, I decided to just make
them links. I'm not sure why they weren't links to begin
with, as a matter of fact. There is also one new piece in
my Digital section.
10/28/2008:
Digital artwork added, and a Euro-trip in the making
A bunch of fresh new things have been added to the
Digital part of the site, and I am
working on posting a BIG account of my recent adventures in
Europe.

09/14/2008: In with the New!
I am happy to announce the arrival of some exciting new
artwork on the site, including a recently-finished pair of
custom-painted Vans sneakers
that can be found in the Other Work part
of the site. My
Digital work has expanded in its scope
as well, and the section now includes a full, digitally-painted
comic-style adventure, an interesting airship design, and a
stapler (among other
things). If you would like to view stuff that gets put on
the shelf as new work emerges, I have added an
Archives section to
the site, as well.
I think at this
point, I can pretty safely say that all previously-broken
links on the site are fixed. Apologies for any confusion
or inconvenience they may have caused in the meantime.
